Meet Dr. David
Dr. David is a clinical psychologist with specialized training in treating anxiety disorders, OCD, and related conditions. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Texas Tech University, where she focused on personalized cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and earned a graduate certificate in psychological methods and statistical analysis.
After completing an APA-accredited internship in the OCD and Anxiety Disorders Track at Rogers Behavioral Health, Dr. David went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical treatment and research, specializing in OCD and anxiety at the Adult Residential Program at Rogers. She also has clinical experience working with PTSD and eating disorders.
Dr. David’s clinical expertise includes roles as Clinical Supervisor at Rogers Behavioral Health, where she led treatment teams in both pediatric and adult programs for OCD and anxiety. She also served as Clinical Services Coordinator and Psychologist at the Kansas City Center for Anxiety Treatment. Her passion for training and teaching led to her receiving the “Undergraduate Course Instructor of the Year” award from Texas Tech University.
Dr. David’s treatment approach focuses on customized, evidence-based CBT for anxiety, OCD, and body-focused repetitive behaviors. She is particularly interested in finding the most effective ways to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs. Dr. David’s published research explores innovative ways to improve exposure-based therapy and develop treatment strategies for complex cases.
Dr. David is a licensed psychologist in Kansas and Missouri. She is an active member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), and the American Psychological Association (APA).
